- Collegiate Plaids, LLC designs and manufactures handbags, totes, and small accessories in durable custom-designed quilted fabrics for colleges and universities.
- These products are made exclusively for Collegiate Plaids and are of high quality and style. They are an excellent addition to the quality items found at college and university bookstores and in all other sales outlets where collegiate merchandise is sold.
- Collegiate Plaids’ line currently consists of fourteen styles ranging in a variety of sizes from a small catch-all to a large overnight duffle. These styles were carefully designed to make the product attractive to a broad customer base. From college coeds to seasoned alumnae, there is a style to suit anyone.
Product Line Design and Development
- If your school colors are not in line with what we currently carry, we will discuss and provide mock-ups of our plaid in your colors.
- Once we get approval and a commitment to buy, we will proceed with the licensing process via CLC, LRG or other licensing affiliates.
- While we have an idea which logos look best, we want you to be involved because you know your audience. Therefore, a collective decision will be made between Collegiate Plaids and buyer as to which school logo is chosen to be embroidered on the product.
- Please keep in mind that we design and manufacturer our own fabric, therefore, this process does take some time. We typically begin designs in late summer/early fall so that we can shoot for a late fall/early-summer product roll-out. If your buying timelines are different, please tell us immediately upon contacting us and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.
